I was born and raised in Omaha Nebraska. It had always been my passion to see the rest of the world.  Throughout my early 20's my exploration was concentrated in the America's but ultimately my passion to experience the Eastern Hemisphere prevailed.  The cultural differences were worlds apart from my Midwestern upbringing and not a day went by without a better sense of the world being gained.  I found myself  searching for aesthetic variations from place to place.

For now my travels have ceased and I've taken up residence in Glasgow, Scotland with my husband, Darren and our dog, Elton. 

With my newly found calm, I have had time to reflect on all that I have seen.  When I paint, memories are re-experienced in a rush of color and transcendent thought.  Using simple abstraction it is my quest as an artist to capture the spirit of the world as I have so beautifully encountered it.
